In Florida, the Attorney General’s Section of Victim Services helps crime victims and their rights, in addition to handling a repayment program to make sure that money is given for people who’ve suffered personal injury from a crime. The Division of Victim Services is responsible for notifying crime victims of any decisions made on appeal with regard to their cases. Crime Victims who’ve suffered personal injury may qualify to receive money for medical bills, lost wages, psychologist and psychiatrist services, funeral costs and other costs which arise from the personal injury. Fortunately, crime victims can be given the names of support groups within their local area if it is necessary.
