Let’s take a look at some Coral Gables car accident settlements.

Driver Wins $15,000 After Drunk Driver Hits Her

My client’s car after the crash.

A pickup truck driver crashed into a driver of another car.  I represented the driver of the car.

Her car rolled over after the DUI driver crashed into her.  The pickup truck driver received a ticket for driving under the influence (DUI).

I requested the DUI driver’s blood alcohol results.  He had 0.131 g/100 mL, which is over one and a half times the legal limit.

The assistant state attorney met with my client to see whether she saw the careless driver behind the wheel.  She didn’t.  I attended that meeting.

The accident happened in West Miami, which borders Coral Gables, Florida.  She received very little medical treatment.

Progressive Insurance Company insured the drunk driver.  All the settlements in this article are before deduction for attorney’s fees and expenses.

Most cases result in a lower recovery. It should not be assumed that your case will have as beneficial a result.

Man Hit By Drunk Driver Gets $14,000

A drunk driver crashed into a car that my client was a passenger in.  The crash happened at SW 9th Street and sw 57th Ave (Red Road) in West Miami.  This is next to Coral Gables.

The injured passenger didn’t go to the hospital.  He later went to a doctor.

He initially complained of pain in his lower back, mid and upper back, neck and shoulder.

X-rays showed that he had mild straightening of the normal cervical lordosis “probably” due to muscle spasm.

“Cervical” means neck.  Basically, he lost some of the normal curve of the spine.

He claimed tinnitus, which is ringing in his ears.  It eventually went away.

He received very little medical treatment.  Progressive Insurance Company insured the drunk driver.

We settled for $14,000 due to his minimal medical care.
