Attorney Justin Ziegler has become a big brother (mentor) to a 10 year old living in Overtown, Florida through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program of Greater Miami. Justin and his little brother meet approximately two times each month and spend time together at the beach, parks, playing sports (Volleyball, basketball, football, bowling), going to Miami Heat games, Florida Panter games and eating at restaurants. Justin is happy to answer any questions about the Big Brother Big Sisters program.

Justin Ziegler volunteered at Camillus House. Lawyer Ziegler helped organize food which was donated. This food was placed on trucks and was distributed to the homeless throughout Miami. There were a large number of volunteers for this event.

Metromover mishap separates disabled woman from her dog

Attorney Justin Ziegler represents a disabled woman who was seriously injured when the doors on the Metromover failed to stay open long enough so she could properly exit the Metromover. According to the Miami Herald she was left ” lying between the electrified tracks and separated her from her assistance dog, which was trapped inside a Metromover car. The leash dragged the wheelchair several feet along the platform edge before the chair crashed into a pillar. As the leash snapped, the woman was pitched onto the tracks. The Miami Herald article stated that she “was attempting to exit the car but her dog, who was leashed to the wheelchair, got caught on the other side of a vertical grab pole. We are seeking the maximum limits available from the Miami-Dade County , which are $100,000.

Justin Ziegler also represents people who are injured by slip and falls on a the premises at a mall.  The NBC network show should air sometime in March.

Florida Attorney Justin Ziegler of The Law Offices of Justin Ziegler has been asked by Miami Attorney Spencer Aronfeld to be a guest on WKAT 1360 AM’s “Ask the Lawyer,” a one hour open forum talking about the law and how if affects people in South Florida and throughout the state and Nation. The show will air live on a Saturday in June/July between 4 and 5 p.m. Past guests of the show have included Nationally Recognized Criminal Trial Attorney and television celebrity Roy Black, and nationally prominent attorney and author Jan Schlichtmann. Jan Sclichtman’s book A Civil Action has been made into a major motion picture starring John Travolta as Schlichtmann.
