JUSTIN ZIEGLER participated as a judge in the 2nd Annual Invitational UM MOCK TRIAL TOURNAMENT. The competition is very prestigious and there were about 25 teams from different states competing. Mr. Ziegler recently received a distinction as a donor to the The Robert H. Waters Memorial Scholarship Committee for his financial commitment to this scholarship account. The School of Law established this scholarship in 2002 to honor the late Robert H. Waters, a faculty member for over 30 years and an outstanding teacher and mentor to countless students. Among his numerous achievements, Professor Waters helped found the Woodson-Williams-Marshall Association for black faculty and administrators and began an enrichment program for black students entering law school. In his honor, The Association was posthumously renamed The James Weldon Johnson/Robert H. Waters Summer Institute, and an endowed scholarship is being established in his name. The School of Law welcomes donations in any amount for this scholarship. We thank the Professor Robert H. Waters Memorial Fund committee members for their efforts and active support.
In 2002 , Justin Ziegler volunteered through the HOPE (Helping Others Through Pro Bono Efforts) program of the University of Miami School Of Law .
