He was rushed to the emergency room in Miami Beach, Florida. The ER diagnosis was a separated shoulder, neck pain, back pain, and abrasions (scrapes) throughout his body. $10,000 Settlement for young man who was T-boned when riding a motorcycle that he had just purchased. He fractured his leg and had a rod inserted into his leg during surgery. He also lost some of his teeth from the accident. The at fault party was insured with Allstate. He had a several day hospital stay. Unfortunately, the at fault driver only had $10,000 in bodily injury insurance. Our client did not have uninsured/underinsured motorist insurance.

We were seeking the combined policy limits of $1.25 million dollars ($1,250,000.00) for a motorcycle rider who was hit by a car while driving in Miami, Florida. His personal injury included a broken (comminuted) femur and a broken tibia (open fracture). The insurance company for the elderly at fault driver is AIG. The motorcyclist was driving straight with a green light (per the witness) when another car driven by an 80 year old male made a u-turn in front of the motorcyclist. The motorcycle rider was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital (Ryder Trauma Center) in Miami, Florida. He received blood transfusions as a result of the accident. He had several cuts on his body which required stitches.
